Distribution of Work Tools to 216 Needy people in Kabul

Through the cooperation and efforts of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs work tools provided to needy and underprivileged individuals in Shakardara District of Kabul. A special survey was conducted before the distribution of work tools to help these 216 individuals and finally establish their own businesses. These individuals completed a specialized training programs in tailoring, shoemaking, metalwork, tire men, fabric selling, and livestock farming, and these individuals received necessary equipment related to their professions.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs is committed to support different groups of society, especially the needy and poor people, and to create opportunities for small business. This will enable them to earn a proper income and support their families. Alhaj Mawlavi Mohammad Zahid Ahmadzai added these remarks at the beginning of the ceremony.

The Deputy Minister of Labor Affairs, expressed his gratitude to the partner organizations and called on other partner organizations to expand their activities. He stressed this will help to reduce the unemployment rate, create job opportunities for Afghan citizens in various sectors, and it will address some existing problems.

After that, Mawlavi Fida Mohammad Fidayee the district governor of the Shakardara, welcomed the guests and urged to take benefits from the tools and matrials that they have received.

Following this, a representative of Serve Afghanistan also thanked the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and officials of the district for their cooperation. Our effort is to help them to reach self-sufficiency and economic stability, and address their challenges in time.

It is worth mentioning, General Director of Skills Development, Mawlavi Rahimullah Sarah, Director of Technical and Vocational Training Centers Mawlavi Abdul Wahid Faiz was also attended in this ceremony.
