“Focus on exports instead of imports. While imports may provide immediate benefits to businessmen and citizens, they weaken the country's economy in the long run. This issue must be taken seriously, and efforts should be made to find strategies that will strengthen and expand Afghanistan's exports.”  These remarks were made by the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Alhaj Mullah Abdul Manan Omari, during a ceremony organized by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce to honor the best exporters of the year 2024/25.

"Currently, a suitable environment, opportunities, and facilities are available for all kinds of investment. At a high level among the IEA leadership, commitment and dedication exist, and this dedication must be extended to the lower levels. Bureaucracy should be reduced; genuine efforts should be made to eliminate the gap between the government and the private sector. We should solve the problems mentioned above. Undoubtedly, these steps will benefit the country, the people, and the system," the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs further added.
