The draft of national labor policy was approved in principle by social partners too.

in a session which was held by this purpose with the participation of the deputy labor minister Sayeed Abdul Hakim Hashmi, Afghanistan’s laborer union chief Maraof Qadari, the chief of mineral and industry chamber Rahimullah Samandar and some of the ministry directors which called the social partners, after the discussion and sharing their unique opinions about this policy, they unanimously approved the draft of national labor policy in principle  which includes the employment and migration strategies.

Previously, we don’t have a regular and comprehensive strategy and fortunately by the cooperation of social partners, international communities and ministry of finance and by the endeavors of the general department of plan and policy of the ministry of labor and social affairs the policy draft has been arranged with the mandate of creating of job opportunities, a guarantee of laborers welfare, increase the efficiency in performance and creation of a good working environment for laborers, said Sayeed Abdul Hakim Hashmi deputy labor minister.

Ministry of labor and social affairs is responsible for the arrangement of national employment policy to find the right solution for decreasing unemployment rate, fortunately, the draft of national policy addresses these challenges and also includes important labor issues such as relationships labor and entrepreneurs, professional and job creator relations, determination the last limit of salary, take care about the quality and quantity of labor in the country, reviewing of the vocational education curriculum according to the demands of the labor market, sending the labors to foreign countries, with the coordination to the private sector, this policy also addressed important topic of Employment and job opportunities for countrymen at home, Mr. Hashmi added.

At the end, the acting director for the directorate of plan and policy Chari Qull Adib presented a Comprehensive and inclusive presentation about the goals of the national policy and finally after arguments and discussions the policy was approved in principal from its social partners.
