Graduation of 344 Young People from Technical and Vocational Training in Kabul

Through the efforts and coordination of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and the General Directorate of Skills Development, 344 young people graduated from the Basir Technical and Vocational Training Center in Kabul City. After completing six months of theoretical and practical training, they received certificates in professions such as plumbing, building electricity repairing, refrigerator and air conditioner repairing, mobile phone repairing, vehicle wiring, car engine repairing, tailoring, computer studies, web design, household electrical appliance repairing.

It is a moment of happiness that we are witnessing the graduation of a large number of young people from the Basir Technical and Vocational Training Center. Through this, they will be able to earn a lawful livelihood for their families. In addition to its other responsibilities, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs provides technical and vocational training opportunities based on labor market needs. These programs serve young people, individuals recovering from addiction, orphans and children without guardians, and disabled Mujahideen across all provinces of the country. These initiatives will help to reduce the unemployment rate in the country. The Deputy Minister of Labor Affairs, Alhaj Mawlavi Mohammad Zahid Ahmadzai, stated these remarks at the graduation ceremony to the audience and participants.

The General Director of Skills Development, Mawlavi Rahimullah Sarah, spoke in detail about the importance and value of work and earning a livelihood from the perspective of the holy religion of Islam. He urged the graduates to make use of the practical and theoretical knowledge, experience, and skills they had acquired so that they may become a source of service for their families and society.

It is worth mentioning that in this graduation ceremony, the advisor to Deputy Labor Affairs, Qari Mohammad Karim Hanafi; the Director of Organization of Technical and Vocational Training Centers, Mawlavi Abdul Wahid Faiz; the Director of Coordination and Integration of Technical and Vocational Training, Mullah Abdul Ghani Wafa; and the Director of Press, Samiullah Ibrahimi, as well as instructors, students, and officials of the center, were present.
