The Deputy Minister of Social Affairs Meets with the Director General of Afghanistan National Radio and Television
The Deputy Minister of Social Affairs, Alhaj Mawlavi Obaidullah Aminzada, along with his accompanying delegation, met with Qari Mohammad Yousaf Ahmadi, Director General of Afghanistan National Radio and Television.
Afghanistan National Radio and Television is the official state media institution, which can play an important role through radio and television broadcasts in reuniting lost children with their families both in the center and provinces. The Afghanistan National Radio and Television shall air programs about the missing children, produce and broadcast social programs, and raise public awareness about vulnerable groups, especially children. The National Radio and Television of Afghanistan will expand cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in broadcasting related to reuniting missing children with their families and increasing public awareness. The Deputy Minister of Social Affairs, Alhaj Mawlavi Obaidullah Aminzada, added these remarks at the beginning of the meeting.
After that, the Director General of National Radio and Television expressed his commitment to full cooperation with the Ministry’s social programs, stating that Afghanistan National Radio and Television is ready to collaborate in sharing the problems and challenges of vulnerable groups with the public and in mobilizing support and assistance for them.
At the end of the meeting, both sides agreed to continue their cooperation and to expand joint media initiatives.
