Three Missing Teenagers Reunited with their Family after four Years

Three teenagers were reunited with their family after four years of separation. During these four years, they were cared for in the protective centers of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. They were reunited with their father in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Social Affairs, dozens of MoLSA directors and staff, journalists, and other relatives of the missing youths.
First, the Deputy Minister for Social Affairs, Mawlavi Obaidullah Aminzada told to the participants: Fortunately, with the efforts of the ministry staff and employees, the family of these teenagers was found after four years of separation. Today, they are handing over to their father, who will embrace them. This event highlights the commitment and attention of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, particularly the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, to protect and care for its citizens.
He added, the protective centers of the MoLSA have been providing proper care and guardianship for the unaccompanied children and orphans. The MoLSA is providing training and vocational skills to these children in various fields to support and help their families in the future and have a prosperous life ahead.
After that, the Director of Child Protection, Mawlavi Saaduddin Mutmain, briefly spoke about the ministry's responsibilities in safeguarding orphans and vulnerable children. He also appealed to the public, urging them if you find or aware of a missing child, kindly contact the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs; we will provide them shelter and reunite them with their respective families.
Then, Sheikh Noorullah Makki, Director of Social Welfare, praised the ministry's efforts in supporting vulnerable people. During his speech, he mentioned that the fathers of these teenagers had previously been addicted to drugs. The MoLSA has provided treatment in one of their rehabilitation centers, and now he is equipped with vocational training and fully prepared to take responsibility for his children.
At the end, Sayyed Hussain Mousavi, a family member of the reunited children, expressed his gratitude for the ministry’s efforts. He said that through the dedication of the ministry, we reunite with our missing loved ones after nearly four years.
It is worth mentioning that last Thursday, the ministry also reunited a sick child who had been repatriated to Afghanistan by Pakistani Police from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In Afghanistan, he received medical treatment. After contacting his family, he was reunited with them.
